Hi All,

My name is Anna and i’m 23 and live in London. For quite a while i’ve been looking into the whole tattoos scene with obvious interest in girls tattoos. About a year ago i decided that i wanted a girls tattoo but like most first timers had many questions and doubts about getting a tattoo that was going to stay with me for the rest of my life. I loved many of the tattoos that i’ve seen on other girls – they look real cool & sexy – just what i desired to have but i decided that if i was going to go through with it then i needed questions answered.

So these were some of my major questions that needed answering:

  • The biggy – what Cool & Sexy Tattoo do i get ?
  • The next biggy – Where on my body should it go ?
  • Do I go little and discreet ?
  • Do I be brave and go larger and bolder ?
  • What Tattoo Studio or tattoo artist should i trust to do this to me ?
  • What if i make a mistake ?
  • Where is the best place to look at tattoo designs ?
  • Where is the best place to get tattoo flashes to take to my chosen artist ?
  • Where can i get girls tattoos inspiration from ?

Well in order to answer these and other questions I decided to do my research and looked at all the major girls tattoos sites I could find on the web.

Well these are my Top 2 Sites and why I liked them – Don’t bother wasting your time with any of the others

Chopper Tattoo

Chopper-Tattoo.com is the other site I would recommend to you if you are looking for the best tattoo designs available – this site is all about the designs and claims to have the number one gallery on the Web. It has about 3800 catagorized designs that are all of top quality – no fillers here. You get a fully customizable lettering section offering countless options and ideas that is really great. You find your design, click and print – then off to the parlour to get inked. With your membership you get a free Inked magazine and a huge music download Bonus valued at $297 thrown in.

Chopper Tattoo is not as fully featured as Tattoo me Now but does offer excellent value for some of the best tattoo designs you could find.

This is another fantastic site and worth every penny I paid. Once again there are are a few really useful parts to this site. Obviously the Design Gallery is your first stop and although there are only about half the designs of the Print My Tattoo site, if like me your looking for girls tattoos then the 3,500 designs they have are more than enough to get you on your way to choosing your tattoo. The ability to combine more than one tattoo design more than makes up for the reduction in number of designs e.g. you may want to add some lettering to a heart or cupid tattoo design or combine two cool girls tattoos into one awsome custom design – you get the picture i’m sure.

Ok the next really cool bit about the site is their members gallery - it’s truly awesome and it is here that you can get some real inspiration as to what tattoos you think look cool & Sexy and what turns you off. It was here that i got my personal inspiration for my tattoo – but i actually found my tattoo flash on a different site – so it goes to show if your serious about getting some ink done then don’t rush into the first thing you think will look cool - look around, get some ideas from different places - after all this is going to be with you a long time !

Other sections are a Forum where you can post your questions and get your feedback – there are loads of members on this forum so it’s a great place to visit. Yet another really cool feature is the Video Vault with tattoo related videos in 12 different categories including TV shows, documentaries and funny stuff as well.

Well to sum up – This site has it all – 40 Design categories, 38 members gallery categories, 12 Tattoo Video categories, a Forum AND i almost forgot the Studio Directory with over 10,000 studios in 38 countries. If you can only afford to join one site then i would recommend this one – without hesitation.

I hope you have found my review of my top sites informative and would love to have your comments. Over the next week or so i shall be adding a few pages on the sites that in my opinion do not offer those looking for girls tattoos very good value for money for the content on offer.

Why are so many women getting tattoos/piercings?

Okay, I can respect it when someone gets a tattoo that is meaningful, like one that represents a loved one or a deceased friend/relative, something like that. But recently, I see so many girls and young women getting tattoos when I was in high school and now in college. It seems that many of them are just getting tattoos on a whim, they think its cute, or they think they’re rebelling against society. But what’s worse is excess piercings. A nose stud or belly button piercing might be attractive, but the bull nose rings, tongue piercings, and lip rigs disgust me. I know other guys find that hot on women, but I don’t think I can stand kissing some girl with a lip ring.

Guys are no different. Remember tribal tattoos? Those were actually cool at some point, but today they serve as a representation for douche bag. Kind of sad how something meaningful became meaningless when a bunch of people started doing it like a trend. I have met a few people that get tattoos on a whim and regret it later.

I find piercings and tattoos in some areas as well as an excess of them highly unattractive.
Some people have so many tattoos, I wonder how they could even stand to get so many.

The only body piercings that look okay on people are ear and naval piercings, and maybe a tiny nose piercing.
When someone has a piercing on his/her pretty face, all I can ask is, "Why ruin your beautiful face?!"

Bodies parts covered in ink and faces with piercings or earlobes stretched out with giant holes tend to disgust me and freak me out.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think tattoos are disgusting. I can appreciate someone getting one for some meaningful reason, however, it still looks disgusting to me. I just find natural skin to be a million times more beautiful. So I don’t mean any offense with this question.
But this whole celebrity craze/trend that seems to be going on right now where all the celebs are getting tattoos, therefore many Americans get tattoos, seems to be tattooing up all the girls/women aroung me.
I feel bad because I’m not shallow when it comes to looks, that is natural looks. I could care less about what your weight is, but when it comes to tattoos, I just find it disgusting and hard to imagine myself in a relationship with anyone that has a tattoo.
I know it is your body and you can do whatever you want with it, but I consider tattooing to be a personality trait and one of the few personality traits that I would ever consider to be a must have (in the sense of that girl/women refusing to get one) in a relationship.
So what I’m wondering is if there are any girls out there anymore that hate tattoos as much as I do and refuse to get them, because it seems like every girl around me in college has a tattoo now and it just bums me out.

Okay im going to get a tattoo like this for my birthday in Jan. i just have a few questions before i get it done.
1.about how long do you think it will take?
2.about how much do you think it will cost? (i know every place is diffrent i just want a hint around about how much)
3.how painful do you think it could be since it is on the foot going up the leg?

ooh thats going to be painful sorry no way to get around it and oh i cringe at that if done right it will be beautiful if not it might scar easily since its by the heel and alot of rubbing is going on try to find a 3 to 4 day time where you get the tattoo and dont wear any should that will chafe as money cost that much ink anywhere from 150 250 USD and not more then one 2 to 3 hr session. it will be painful but if its what you want it will be worth it remember dont use any petroleum based creams or soaps on it it will make it fade fast and dont itch it slap it if you half to and buy week 2 you wont notice it at all have talk to your artist and while your binging inked it will help with the pain bring a friend along to talk to and calm you down if needed i didnt but then again i got mine done kinda a whim i knew i wanted it but never had the time and one day i was with a friend out of town and just got it

celebrity tattoos designs girls?

Hi I would like to surprise my GF on her birthday. I was thinking of taking her to a tattoo parlor so she could pick out her favorite celebrity tattoo design, anybody know where I could get some design ideas?

Hi Brian, I sure do, I did the very same thing for my GF and she was stoked! She go Angeline Joline Tattoo. I don’t know how big you are into tattoos but I’m huge into them and I like a lot of designs not just celebrity. It also makes it a lot easier to be able to print out designs to bring to the tattoo parlor so he has something to work with. The last time I was at this website they were offering a $1.00 full access trial. Don’t know if they are still doing it but it’s worth the look. They have thousands upon thousands of beautiful designs plus you can print them out. They also have videos and really just to much to list here. I feel like i look so dull, im an african american girl with only ear piercings and bra-strap length black hair. with a big forehead. I had bangs but they grew out to my nose and i barely own make-up because i don’t know how to use it. literally all i own is eyeshadow from Sephora. keep JUST the ear piercings, dont get tattoos! you will REGRET it like none other when they start sagging and wrinkleying in thirty years.
