Are there any girls/women left out there who hate/refuse to get tattoos?
This is just my personal opinion, but I think tattoos are disgusting. I can appreciate someone getting one for some meaningful reason, however, it still looks disgusting to me. I just find natural skin to be a million times more beautiful. So I don’t mean any offense with this question.
But this whole celebrity craze/trend that seems to be going on right now where all the celebs are getting tattoos, therefore many Americans get tattoos, seems to be tattooing up all the girls/women aroung me.
I feel bad because I’m not shallow when it comes to looks, that is natural looks. I could care less about what your weight is, but when it comes to tattoos, I just find it disgusting and hard to imagine myself in a relationship with anyone that has a tattoo.
I know it is your body and you can do whatever you want with it, but I consider tattooing to be a personality trait and one of the few personality traits that I would ever consider to be a must have (in the sense of that girl/women refusing to get one) in a relationship.
So what I’m wondering is if there are any girls out there anymore that hate tattoos as much as I do and refuse to get them, because it seems like every girl around me in college has a tattoo now and it just bums me out.
yeah right here, I don’t like tattoos either. I like my body and skin they way it is

Yes. They are disgusting in my opinion. Not only to they rarely have any significance, they are a permanent scar causing the body to forever be flawed in my opinion.

Yes. I am a traditional gal and would never ever ever get a tattoo or even another piercing. Just the ears.

I find a lot of tattoos to be totally unnecessary – people rarely think them through and even if they do they relate it to some frivolous occurrence. They then proceed to show them off to everyone and they are just ew. I think the pain would be enough to deter me from getting a tattoo, but I don’t want to get something that I regret when I’m 30 let alone 70.

I agree with you completely! I find it gross and disgusting! And I will NEVER get a tattoo.

Why would it bum you out? And if you don’t like ink, or inked people, why are you in this section? I don’t mean to be rude, but why? Lots of people of both genders have ink. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.

Yes, I feel the exact same way about tattoos. I think tattoos just make a person look trashy, even if the person really isn’t. Tattoos send the wrong kind of message. Sometimes you don’t see a tattoo on someone. But the moment they lift up their sleeve, even if it’s a small tattoo, it just makes you see the person in a different way. It’s like something goes off in your head and you think, "Oh…" So many guys have tattoos now, as if it’s mandatory for them to prove that they’re tough. But I would respect a guy more if he didn’t have one. A tattoo just looks so ugly and cheap. Prisoners can have tattoos; regular men on the street shouldn’t.

I don’t hate them….I think getting them are stupid though. Especially if they have no reason, because you are only scaring your body. I have a friend who used his grandma’s death as an excuse to get a tattoo (only way that his mom would allow him to get one), and he got a huge stinking one on his forearm
I am a seventeen year old female.

No ink here! My body is my temple & it will remain that way. I see a lot of girls on my campus with tattoos everywhere too. I guess everyone is into their own stuff, but I just can’t think of a tattoo that I’d still think was cool when I turn 60…
